Fantastic day!! Neville was so knowledgable and down to earth. He taught us so much and was very friendly and relaxed. Well worth the money and a great insight into Kakadu. Learned a lot about indigenous culture & bought some art from the culture centre. Will definitely be returning.

We did the 1 day Litchfield and Croc tour. It was an amazing day! Our guide Nev, was so passionate and knowledgeable about the area we learnt so much. We had a small group which made the day very personal, we could relax and ask any questions we had. Nev was fun and always up for a laugh! The termite mounds were amazing, the waterfalls and scenery luscious. The highlight though had to be the croc tour, our guide was Pat who had lived on the river his whole life. He loved the crocs and is true wildlife warrior. All up the tour is amazing and highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area. Thanks Nev and Pat for an amazing experience.

What a fantastic tour and a fantastic day – Nifty was our guide, he was so knowledgeable and very accommodation. I would highly recommend this tour – the croc jumping was a highlight, wont disappoint.

The scenery was sublime. The waterfalls and swimming holes were easily accessible and simply stunning. Nifty was a great guide. A magnificent day which highlights the beauty of the NT within easy distance of Darwin. This should be on your ‘must do’ list.

An amazing Day out. Our Guide Neville (aka Nifty) was the best. Knowledgeable, personable, and a real asset to this company. This is a Fantastic Day out and one I cannot recommend highly enough. Give you a great opportunity to experience the raw natural beauty of the Top End. Simply a MUST DO!!

We took a full day tour to Kakadu from Darwin with Neville (Nifty) from Offroad Dreaming on Wednesday 19th April – it was fabulous!

Best of all his knowledge was amazing – his 20+ years of experience, and deep love of country really showed. BIG THANKYOU and we highly recommend these guys.

He picked us up at 5.30am, didn’t drop us back until 7pm and despite this long day was able to guide, chat, inform and answer all our questions throughout. Apart from driving through amazing scenery and many wallabies, we did a bush-walk and learnt about bush plants, saw rock-art and gained a better understanding of lore, visited a crocodile, and did a wetland cruise where we saw beautiful water birds.

Lunch and snacks were provided and delicious. Plenty of loo stops were available and consideration was taken of everyone’s fitness and walking abilities.

If you are thinking of a tour this family owned group are personal, engaging and informative and fabulous value for money.

Great day out. Adam was our guide and he was brilliant. We saw termite mounds and some waterfalls which we were allowed to swim in. To top it off we had the real crocodile man Pat, who doesn’t wear shoes, ( a real life Crocodile Dundee) explain and show us what a real croc is like in the wild. Lunch snacks and water were provided. For those looking for a great day out, I would highly recommend this day tour. Lots of breaks for a 12 hour day but landscape stunning, waterfalls beautiful and great way to get a look of the top end not too far from Darwin. Small groups which give you the opportunity to meet new people for the day and not be with an enormous group that can be a little too impersonal.

If you would like a one-day excursion out to the wilderness of Darwin, consider doing a guided trip to Kakadu National Park with Neville from Offroad Dreaming. The pick-up was very early at 530am for me, but it was right on time and the ‘registration’ was very smooth. Neville made a professional effort to know every of his 20 clients on the tour bus by name and he created a light-hearted mood during the long trip drive by having the tour members talk a little about themselves and their travel where-about plans in Darwin. Neville was knowledgeable and was able to share insights about the park, the aboriginal lifestyle and their art culture. He showed us the key highlights in the park and encouraged interactions. Lunch during the tour was included in the package and was a very decent spread for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The tour is definitely worth considering and I would love to join the Litchfield day tour if I return to Darwin in the near future.

I recently travelled to Darwin with 10 intellectually disabled adults and 2 other volunteers. We were very fortunate to spend 3 days of our trip with Neville as our tour guide. He was just lovely to our charges and they were very comfortable with him, asking a myriad of questions (often 2 or 3 times) 🙂
We saw the jumping crocodiles and the Territory Wildlife centre, plus the aviation museum, Darwin museum and the Darwin Experience war museum. Neville walked around with us and was very generous in sharing his knowledge.

The best day was a day trip to Litchfield National park, which was so beautiful. He took us to the termite mounds, Wongi Falls and Florence Falls and to swim in a clear, cold and safe creek. Then he bought us cold watermelon to eat in the creek! We felt very lucky to live in Australia that day! Neville’s picnic lunch that day was terrific.

Thankyou Neville for you patience, experience and vast knowledge. We would highly recommend Offroad Dreaming and hope to see Kakadu with them one day.
