We will head into the nature park’s monsoon forest, where a wide variety of wildlife and tropical plant species thrive.

Later in the day we’ll stop at the Adelaide River, for your private Crocodile Cruise with our wildlife expert and skipper Pat. Here you can view these wondrous tropical reptiles up close, as Pat shares with you his knowledge.

Where the Adelaide River meets the Arnhem Highway, we will meet wildlife expert and Crocodile Cruise skipper Pat. You are in safe hands here as he gets you up close (not too close) to his beloved crocs and shares with you his knowledge of the magnificent tropical reptiles.

Before returning to the terminal, we’ll take you on a tour of Darwin, showing you the historic, cultural and natural landmarks that make Darwin what it is today.

Good to know before you go

  • Our impact We take nothing but photos and we leave nothing but footprints. At Offroad Dreaming, we are proud to run ecologically-sustainable tours and we do our best to limit our impact on the environment in everything we do. We will share our knowledge and respect for the animals and environment with you throughout the day so you can enjoy the beauty of the location, knowing you’re leaving it in the same condition you found it.
  • Our vehicles All of our vehicles are air-conditioned and have tinted windows, providing a comfortable respite on the hotter Territory days. We have spacious and comfortable Toyota Land Cruisers and Coaster Buses, depending on the group size.
  • Swimming There are many opportunities to swim on our tours. However, all of the spots we visit can be enjoyed whether or not you decide to get wet. You can always relax on the banks, dip your feet in, or take a bush walk at any of the pools.
  • Park facilities We will have regular access to toilet facilities throughout the day, meaning you can change in and out of your swimmers if/when you decide to swim.
  • Walking You won’t be required to do any demanding walking on our tours if that is your preference. People of all ages and fitness levels can enjoy the Top End together! If more adventurous bushwalking is your thing, don’t worry: you’ll have the chance to get active.
